Day 01 Lhasa Arrival
Arrival at Lhasa airport. You will be met & transferred to hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure to adjust the high altitude
Day 02 Lhasa B.L
You’ll have a full day visit to Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Norbulingka (Summer Palace of Dalai Lama) and the Tibetan Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant and dinner is at leisure
Day 03 Lhasa (B, L)
In the morning, you are to visit the most holy monastery – Potala Palace. After lunch at local restaurant, you will visit Sera Monastery.
Day 04 Lhasa-Shigatse B.L.D (360 km, estimate 8 hrs drive)
Drive to Shigatse via Yamdruktso Lake and Karola Pass. Check into hotel in Shigatse upon arrival and dinner at hotel
Day 05 Shigatse-Tingri B.L.D (250 km, estimate 6 hrs drive)
Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery. After lunch, drive to Tingri. Check into Tingri Everest Hotel upon arrival and dinner at hotel
Day 06 Tingri-Everest Base Camp-Shigatse B.L.D (470 km, estimate 9 hrs drive & visit)
Early morning drive to Everest Base Camp, visit Rongbu Monastery and surroundings. Then drive to Shigatse. Check into hotel Shigatse and dinner at hotel
Day 07 Shigatse-Lhasa B.L.D (280 km, estimate 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Lhasa. Check into hotel and have some free time.Tibetan style dinner.
Day 08 Lhasa Departure B
After breakfast, transfer to Lhasa airport for flight to your next destination
