Zhangjiajie Senic Area

Day 1 Arrive at Zhangjiajie

Arrive at Zhangjiajie, your private tour guide and driver will hold a sign with your name to pick you up from Zhangjiajie train station or airport, check in at your hotel and free for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Zhangjiajie / Wulingyuan Scenic Area B.L

Today you will visit the Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

You will first visit Tianzi Mountain (天子山), Tianzi Mountain, known as “the Monarch of the Peak Forest”, gives you amazing views of peaks, which rise one after another.

Then proceed to Yuanjiajie （袁家界）, visit the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain (哈利路亚山 formerly known as Southern Sky Column), the No.1 Natural Bridge in the World（天下第一桥）, the Enchanting Stage (迷魂桥)  etc. .  and take Bailong Elevator (白龙天梯), the highest glass elevator in the world, down the mountain.

Then walk along 7.5 kilometers the Golden Whip Stream （金鞭溪） to admire verdant mountains, steep cliffs and serene valley.

Your next destination is Zhangjiajie Ten-mile Natural Gallery (十里画廊). You will take a ride on the electric train to enjoy vivid pictures formed by peaks.

Day 3 Zhangjiajie B.L

You will visit Huanglong Cave (黄龙洞), a unique karst wonder. The cave is 12km, and it has 4 layers. you will ride a boat in the cave and marvel at fantastic stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers and stone basins.

Continue to beautiful Baofeng Lake (宝峰湖), you will have a boat ride on the clear water, see the hills of various shapes, and enjoy traditional folk songs songs by the local minority people.

Then, head to the Zhangjaijie Grand Canon Glass Bridge (张家界大峡谷玻璃桥),  which is world’s longest and highest glass bridge.  Walk on the glass bridge, you can show off your courage! You will also enjoy a panoramic view of the stunning Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon.

Back to your hotel in Zhangjiajie city.

Day 4 Leave Zhangjiajie B.L

After breakfast, visit the amazing Tianmen Mountain(天门山). You will be lifted to the top of the mountain by the world’s longest cable car, see the stunning views such as The Tianmen Cave, the 99 Bends. You can walk along thrilling cliff-hanging walkway and Glass Skywalk.

Transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport or train station and see you off.

In contrast to those packages tours which just take you to visit Wulingyuan Scenic Area (including Yuanjjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Ten-mile Gallery, the Golden Whip Stream and Yangjiajie, all these are included in one ticket), this package covers all highlights of Zhangjiajie  – Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain.
  2. The tour is flexible, we can tailor-make it according to your schedule, budget, and special needs.
  3. Most flights land and leave Zhangjiajie in the evening, we will pick you up from airport and drop you off back to airport when tour finishes.
  4. Most trains get to Zhangjiajie in the afternoon or evening. Trains from Beijing runs 24 hours, from Shanghai 20 hours, from Changsha 5 hours, from Guangzhou 13 hours.
  5. The best time to visit Zhangjiajie is from April to October, the weather is good and there are more sunny days.
