Notes:
1.The food and merchandises in Yubeng are transported from outside, as vehicles cannot get to Yubeng so things are expensive there. Travellers are advised to take food themselves such as biscuits, bread, milk, yoghurt, mineral water and fruit.
2. Yubeng has few hotels; Xueyuzangjiale Hotel is one of the local best hotels, Yubeng is short of water, so maybe there is no water for shower.
3. The car can only get to Xidang Village and travellers have to walk to Yubeng Village to get to the hotel. Big luggage can be left in the car, and travellers can get there with only backpacks.
4. This is a popular hiking route, however the hiking will take long time, and conditions are rather tough there.
5. The price does not include horse-driving fee, it is paid by travellers on the spot RMB350/horse/ day. There are often horse available in villages along the way offered by local farmers.

Hi Patricia,
Thanks for your email.
I suggest you take 6 Days Yubeng and Meili tour, but the weather in
December is too cold to either for Yubeng or Meili, it is about -20 ℃ and
may has big snow some times. I advise you take the tour after mid April.
Spring and Autumn are both good time to take the tour.
If you want to have a tour in Yunnan in December 25, I suggest you take a
photography tour to Yuanyang Terraces & Dongchuan Redland tour. Check the
details here at:
https://www.intochinatravel.com/yunnan-yuanyang-terraces-dongchuan-redland-photography-group-tour/
This tour departs on December 25 and end on Jan 1. This is a group tour and
non-shopping tour, and other group members are Chinese photography lovers.
Our travelers have very good feedback of this tour. I notice that you know
Chinese, the price will be very good if you can understand Mandarin. If you need an English speaking tour guide
,the price will be higher.i strongly suggest you take this tour.
Do not hesitate to let me know if you have any question.
Regards,
Peter Wang
