Day 1 Beijing – Night Train to Lhasa Train T27 20:09 – 16:00 +2days.
Arrive in Beijing and stay in Super House international Hotel, Transfer from your hotel in Beijing to Beijing West Railway Station and board the evening train to Lhasa with your Tibet Travel Permit.
Day 2 Train Trip
Travel on train and enjoy the scene along the road. The train has dining cars in the middle, offering Chinese meal and simple western style food for all three meals.
Day 3 Arrive at Lhasa D
The highlight of the train trip is on this day. In the daytime you will see snow-covered mountains on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. You will arrive at Lhasa in the late afternoon. Our local guide will meet you and transfer you to hotel in Lhasa. The rest of the day is yours to relax and let your body adjust to Tibet’s high altitudes.
Day 4 Lhasa B.L
On this day your tour today will include Lhasa’s cardinal landmarks, the Potala Palace – the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism. Then visit the Jokhang Temple and the flourishing Barkhor Street around this temple.
Day 5 Lhasa B.L
You will take a whole day tour to visit the Norbulingka Park, the imperial Palace of Tibet, Then the Sera Monastery, which about 5km north of central Lhasa. Here you could see the interesting “Buddhism Scriptures Debating” between Lamas. In the evening you will visit a local Tibetan Family.
Day 6 Lhasa – Beijing by Flight B
In the morning visit Tibetan Museum, in the afternoon transfer to airport for your flight to Beijing City. Pick you up from Beijing airport and transfer to hotel to have a rest.
