Day 1 Arrive Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai airport or railway station and transfer to the hotel in a private car. You will have a free day to explore the city on your own.
Day 2 Shanghai B.L
Today visit Shanghai’s highlights, first visit the Shanghai Museum and then the beautiful and delicate Yuyuan Garden. Walk along the city’s colonial European past – The Bund, and the famous walking street Nanjing Road. After dinner, enjoy an amazing performance – Shanghai Acrobatic Show.
Day 3 Shanghai – Xian B.
The morning is at leisure. Then take afternoon flight to the ancient city -Xian and transfer to hotel upon arrival.
Day 4 Xian B.L.D
Full day excursion to world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses, which is called “the eighth wonder of the world”, these armies were created created 2,200 years ago to protect the Emperor Qinshihuang underground. Have Chinese lunch in local restaurant, then visit the Big wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Mosque. Enjoy the fantastic Tang Dynasty Dance show in the evening.
Day 5 Xian – Beijing B.L
Visit the Shaanxi Historical Museum, one of the best museums in China to learn about the 5,000 years brilliant history of China through its very large number of collections. Then you will have a bicycle tour along the Ancient City Wall constructed in Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD). Take evening flight to Beijing and transfer to the hotel.
Day 6 Beijing – B.L
Today we will head north for the renowned Great Wall. After about 1 hour drive we will arrive at the amazing Great Wall, and walk along the wall as emperors once did. After lunch, back to city, on the way stop to photograph the Bird Nest and Water Cube the two main stadiums of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Then visit Beijing’s old Hutong (narrow lanes) area by old–fashioned Pedi cab. You will have chance to visit a local family in a courtyard–style home known as a Siheyuan.
Day 7 Beijing B.L.D
This morning, first walk around the grand Tiananmen Square and then head north to the extravagant imperial palace buildings in the Forbidden City. After lunch, drive to the northwest suburb to visit the elegant Summer Palace with the Kunming Lake cruise (not available in winter), a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will have delicious Peking Roast Duck for dinner.
Day 8 Depart Beijing B
Transfer to the airport and take your flight back to your country. End of your China tour.
