Day 01 Arrive Beijing
Arrive in Beijing you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Free time for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Beijing B, L
Morning excursion to the Great Wall – Juyongguan Pass. Mid afternoon return to downtown and visit the old Beijing – Hutongs – by trishaw and learn how to make dumplings. Then transfer to your hotel.
Day 03 Beijing B, L.D
Today you will have a full day visit to include Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City and the Capital Museum. Then enjoy Chinese Kungfu Show in Red Theater. This evening you will be treated to a delicious Beijing roast duck dinner.
Day 04 Beijing-Tunxi B, L
In the morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven and have one hour Taichi Class in the garden. In the afternoon, take a two-hour flight to Huangshan. You’ll be transferred to hotel upon arrival.
Day 05 Tunxi –Huangshan-Tunxi B.L.D
After breakfast, you will be driven to Huangshan Mountain, where you will take the cable car to the top of the mountain. First you will visit Begin-to-Believe Peak to see its ancient twisted pine trees, Lion Peak, and Xihai Grand Canyon. Then you will take cable car down the mountain. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 06 Tunxi-She County – Tunxi B.L.D
After breakfast, drive to She County to visit She Ink Slab workshop. Ink Slab is the most important of “four treasures of the study”, where you will learn something about its production process. Then drive back to Tunxi to visit Hui Ink Workshop. In the afternoon you will go to a local workshop to learn writing calligraphy of China or Chinese painting, then visit ancient Song Street, you may have some tea in a tea house or enjoy Huangmei Opera there on your own.
Day 07 Tunxi – Shanghai B.L.D
After breakfast drive to Huangshan Green Tea Plantation. You will pick different tea leaves with the guide of local tea farmers. Then head to Huizhou Tea Museum where you will learn the Chinese tea culture and history, watch the classical Chinese tea ceremony. Then take evening flight to Shanghai, transfer to hotel in Shanghai.
Day08 Shanghai B. L
After breakfast visit the Bund and Shanghai French Concession. Then head to the Yuyuan Garden and Yuyuang Market. In the evening you’ll enjoy a stunning Acrobatic Show.
Day 09 Shanghai Departure B
Transfer to airport for departure flight by own tickets. End of your unforgettable Chinese Culture Tour.
