After meeting your English speaking guide at airport, you will head to the city center to see grand Tiananmen Square, where you will spend about 30 minutes seeing the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to People’s Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao and National Museum of China.
Then head north to see the majestic Forbidden City, which was once home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Tour begins from the Wumen Gate and travel along the central line to see the major sites and end at the Shenwumen Gate.
Then proceed to the Temple of Heaven, where there are a complex of ancient sacrificial buildings. Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties visited this place each year to hold ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.
The last site is the Summer Palace in the northwest suburbs of Beijing. It is an imperial garden which includes many traditional architecture such as pavilions, pagodas,corridors, stone bridges and the famous marble boat.
After the tour, transfer you back to the Beijing airport for your connecting flight.
