Our English speaking tour guide will hold a sign with you name to pick you up from the Beijing Airport(PEK). Then drive directly to the city center with our private car, the distance is about 26km and about 40 minutes drive (it may takes longer if traffic is bad).
Upon arrival, you will first visit the grand Tiananmen Square, our tour guide will give you an introduction of the major sites such as Monument to the People’s Heroes, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and China National Museum on the square. After that head north to visit the Forbidden City. You will spend 1.5 – 2 hours sightseeing inside of the Forbidden City and visiting the major sites of this majestic imperial palace. Then get out from the northern gate.
After that transfer back to the Beijing Capital Airport in time for your next flight.

Hi Susan, I am afraid only a private layover tour is available. All our group tours end at around 18:00 in downtown.
